5 cups tomatoes peeled ¾ cup Spanish onion chopped ¾ cup green pepper chopped ½ cup red pepper chopped 1 hot banana pepper chopped 3 hot chili peppers chopped 1 clove garlic minced 1 can tomato paste ½ cup white vinegar 2 tbsp sugar 2 tbsp lime juice ½ tsp pickling salt 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp oregano
Chop everything and add to a large saucepan over high heat.
Bring to a boil.
Turn heat to low and simmer until thick (around 30 minutes).
Let cool and put into jars with lid.
If possible wait a few hours after cooling for flavors to perculate.
Store in the fridge and serve cold. Sterilize if desired.
