Delicious Banana Cream Overnight Oats

This easy and delicious banana cream overnight oats is high in potassium.  It can help lower your blood pressure and manage your weight.  This recipe offers a delicious flavor or the tradition banana cream pie.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 banana ½ mashed, and ½ cut into slices
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • ¼ cup soy milk unsweetened
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp coconut flakes
  • 1 tsp honey optional

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, mash ½ a banana with a fork.
  • Add rolled oats, yogurt, chia seeds, soy milk, vanilla and honey (if using). Stir until combined.
  • Place the oat mixture into a small container or jar.
  • Place in the fridge for up to an hour, or overnight.
  • When you are ready to eat top with the other half of your banana (sliced). Sprinkle on additional coconut flakes if desired.
  • Enjoy!
